One of my favorite phases of Julia’s life was when she got a little too old to handle a cooking show by herself, so her friend Jacques Pepin stepped in to give her an assist. The two of them together is nothing short of hysterical. His fussy French style and her brassy no-nonsense approach create television magic of the sort we’re not likely to witness again anytime soon.
