Homemade bread and butter pickles with onions.

My mother used to can B&B pickles every year, and they are the best thing this world has to offer. Sweet and zingy, mild and exciting at the same time, an unexpected starburst of flavor.

Do what the label tells ya: slather soft bread with butter and put copious amounts of these babies in the middle. Comfort food doesn’t even begin to describe it.
